ESPECIALLY FOR OUR GUESTS We are glad to have you worship with us today. You are worshiping with people who experience the same difficulties of life as you. We have nothing to boast about except the God we worship. Please relax and focus upon the Lord Jesus who loves you and desires for you to follow Him. While God has surely led you here, you likely still have a number of important questions about us; how to get more involved and connected in meaningful relationships, or about your own personal or spiritual needs. If so, please allow us to help you by completing the guest registration inside the back cover or by coming forward during the invitation time. -Ronnie W. Rogers Guests, please join us at the West entrance after the service. We would like to give you a gift for visiting with us today! The 3 Big Questions for a Frantic Family This class will look at biblical principles to help guide, lead, and manage our families during the seemingly endless busyness and chaos of life. January 15-29, at 5pm - FH2 - led by Ryan Polk Lessons in Manhood What we learn from Adam, Job, David, Solomon and Paul and especially from Jesus, about being a godly husband, father and leader. Begins February 12, at 5 pm - Choir Rm. - led by Randy Presley Why Pro-Life? Caring for the Unborn and Their Mothers This six week study of Randy Alcorn’s book of the same title will start with an overview of the next five weeks. Each of the remaining five weeks will cover a section of Alcorn’s book: 1. The Basics, 2. The Child, 3. The Woman, 4. Other Important Issues, and 5. Spiritual Perspectives and Opportunities. -You are expected to read the section for each week and participate in discussion over that material; it is a small book and reads quickly. Books will be provided. Discussion also will include current issues in the US (you can go online to look for current issues in the area of pro-life and abortion). Local and personal perspectives will be included. -Open to any church member, youth and older. -Led by Larry Toothaker and Carol Ann Lindley. Any questions? Call Larry at 627-1235. Starting January 29, at 5pm - FH3 Understanding Baptism Jesus commands his disciples to be baptized, and it’s a glorious picture of a person’s union with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Still, many Christians feel unclear about the topic, having more questions than answers. This class will provide a biblical explanation of baptism and answer basic questions such as: What is it? Who should be baptized? Why is it required for church membership? And how should churches practice baptism? April 23-30, at 5pm - FH2 - Led by Ryan Polk January 15, 2017
