1° DAY KIEV Arrival to the capital of Ukraine and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant with folkloric show.
2° DAY KIEV Breakfast at the hotel. During this excursion you will observe the most interesting sites of Ukrainian capital: St. Vladimir Cathedral built by the best architects and painted by the prominent artists of their time, it is rightly considered the true work of art having high artistic value. Golden Gates a unique monument of Old Russian defensive constructions, one of few that remain today. St. Sophia’s Cathedral built in the 11th century, Saint Sophia has managed to preserve its beauty and majesty until today, solidifying its place among unique historical monuments. In fact, it was the first Ukrainian landmark to be included onto the UNESCO World Heritage List. St. Michael’s Gold-Domed Cathedral. The sky-blue St. Michael's Cathedral, with its fabulously shining domes, is one of the most beautiful and important Orthodox temples in Ukraine. Independence Square and Kreshchatyk street. The main square is crossed by the legendary Khreshchatyk, Kiev’s main street, stretching for almost one and a half kilometers and connecting two small squares: European and Bessarabian and many others. After lunch transfer to the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Pyrogovo. An exciting cultural tour through folk Ukrainian architecture and customs. The museum is an open-air landscape complex of all historic and ethnographic areas of Ukraine. Explore original huts, wooden churches, water and wind mills as well as clothes, wooden tableware and pottery and musical instruments dating back of the 17th – 20th centuries. Overnight.
3° DAY KIEV-L`VIV Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visiting the functioning Cave Monastery (Lavra) founded in 1051 by the monks with the aim to popularize the Christianity. Lighting up the picturesque banks of the Dnieper with the shine of its golden domes, the Kiev Pechersk Lavra is one of the best known and most popular of the capital’s sights. Lavra is a powerful spiritual landmark, the most honored Orthodox Church in Eastern Europe; the latter, it is a unique cultural monument, recognized by UNESCO.

After lunch Walking on St. Andrew Descent popularly known as the Montmartre of Kiv, is one of the most ancient streets in the Ukrainian capital. The tour starts by exploring Saint Andrew's Church. Rare in its beauty and this amazing construction, rightfully considered to be a real work of art, is among the most remarkable of the city’s landmarks. Transfer to the railway station. Night train to Lviv.
4° DAY L`VIV Morning arrival in Lviv. Breakfast. During Lviv panoramic city tour you will observe the most well-known Lviv’s landmarks: High Castle - sightseeing of the city from the height of bird's flight, ancient Galician churches, located at Pidzamche (Churches of St. Paraskeva, St. Onuphreus, St. Nicolas, Roman-Catholic churches of Mary Snizhna and John the Baptist), complex of Lviv universities, palace of Pototskyy family, Freedom avenue. Lychakiv Cemetery. This astounding necropolis is one of the oldest in Europe. It is older than its wellknown ‘fellows’- the Parisian Père Lachaise and London’s Highgate. St. George Cathedral a splendid Cathedral, standing on top of a hill in the Old Town, is a real gem of Ukrainian baroque architecture. After lunch you will explore historical and legendary medieval Lviv city centre. Start walking from Rynok Square established in the 14th century and registered at UNESCO list, and visit The City Hall. Walk along scenic Renaissance Armenian, Hebrew or Serbian streets to discover the multinational LvivBabylon. View the magnificent Armenian Cathedral, The Dormition Church, The Greek-Catholic St. Andrew Church and Church of Transfiguration. Visit the Organ Hall or the Opera House, the majestic Dominican Cathedral, The Boim Chapel, and buy ethnic hand-made souvenir at the Vernissage trade fare. Overnight.
5° DAY THE ROYAL CITY ZHOVKVA + KREKHIV MONASTERY Breakfast at the hotel. Half day tour to Zhovkva city and Khrekhiv Monastery. Zhovkva is a pleasant town situated 30 kilometers from Lviv. It holds around 100 architectural monuments of national and world importance including frescos, sculptures and glass painting in the temples. Synagogue, built by the Hebrew people in the end of 17th century, is one of the most famous Hebrew sanctuaries in the country. The excursion continues on towards Krekhiv Monastery of Basilian order (established at the beginning of the 17th century) which is situated in the picturesque place. The complex of the monastery includes the Church of Transfiguration (1650), the Bell tower (the middle of the 17th century), buildings of the cells and ancient defensive walls with towers. Return to Lviv. Overnight. 6° DAY L`VIV-KIEV Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and departure.
