Fees for our programs vary from $30-$50 unless specified. There will be a $10 addition for non-residents. Checks should be made out to City of San Juan. A $25 service charge will be assessed for all returned checks.

Registration Registration for all classes will be at the San Juan Parks & Recreation Office located at 316 E. 8th St. in San Juan (see map) from May 14th through June 8th (Track & Tennis up to June 29th), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Register online at:

Class space is limited, so please register early!

Cancellations & Transfers The San Juan Parks & Recreation Department retains the privilege to cancel any scheduled activity that fails to generate minimum interest. There is a minimum of 10 students per class to keep the class from closing. Fees will not be refunded unless classes are canceled. An option will be offered to transfer to other classes in the event of cancelled classes where space is available.

Dance

Baking Class

Want to share your passion of dancing with other people? Well now is your chance. The dance class will bring you one step closer to your dancing dream. In this class you will learn different styles of dancing from Hip-Hop, Modern, Lyrical, and others.

We have created a fun, safe way for children to learn how to bake cookies, cupcakes, as well as homemade frosting!

Ballet

Cheerleading

Young dancers will learn rhythm and coordination in this introduction to ballet. This is a fun class in which children will experience the joy of dance.

Students will learn a variety of chants, cheer, yells, jumps and etiquette necessary to be a good cheerleader. Participants will also learn the importance of this activity at sporting events.

Karate This class is an introduction to the art of Karate which teaches students discipline, responsibility, self defense, control and respect. Middle School Basketball & Volleyball League Join the New & Competitive Middle School Basketball and Volleyball Leagues for all PSJA ISD Middle School incoming 7th and 8th grade students for the 2018-19 school year. This class will teach students the basic fundamentals of T-Ball. Soccer Camp The fundamentals of soccer will be taught in this class as well as rules & regulations. Students will learn to enhance their kicking, dribbling and passing skills. Softball - Pitching/Hitting

Boys & Girls Strength & Conditioning

This class will teach students how to pitch and hit.

Proper conditioning techniques will be taught along with specialized skills appropriate for development of all sports: SOCCER, FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, TRACK & FIELD.

Give your kids an early start in tennis. This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport. Kids will be able to qualify for the Games of Texas. Students must provide their own rackets. Track & Field for Boys & Girls Kids will be able to participate in summer track meets and qualify to the Games of Texas. This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport.
