EXPANSION PROJECT

We have received an update from TxDot on some road closures, and traffic pattern changes off FM 455 associated with the expansion project.

Metz Road – Expected to have a lane closure on either 4/24 or 4/25 This is weatherpending and will be opened back up for temporary access once the milling operation is complete. Please note this operation should last no more than a day, but an alternate route may be necessary in order to allow work completion (Consider - Belz Rd.)

Field Lark Lane – Same as Metz Road. Lane closure is expected sometime this week; weather pending.

Creekside Drive - Also expected to be closed while milling operation is ongoing; Will be opened back up once milling is complete to allow access.

Downtown Area

East of IH-35, south side of FM 455, the following are temporarily closed until further notice & are expected to re-open south side road access within a couple of months once the current project phase is complete.

10th, 7th, 6th, 4th, 3rd & 2nd street - All cross streets can be accessed thru adjoining roadways.

We have maintained access to 8th, 5th & 1st street in an effort to provide access to the public, although they will eventually be closed as well in order to complete work in this area.

In approximately a month, there will be alternating lane closures going both South Bound and North Bound on I35.

The Sanger Starbucks team joined forces with our Parks and Recreation Department to help clean up our pond at Porter Park. We appreciate them taking their personal time to volunteer to help support their community.
