Society Skateboarding Summer Camp Camp is a great place to get skateboarding lessons, challenge yourself to become a better skateboarder, NEW! learn some new tricks, make new friends, and build selfconfidence. Enjoy this awesome sport with a focus on skateboarding safety, fundamentals, etiquette, technique, balance and coordination offered by Society’s experienced instructors. Each session consists of lessons, snack time, game time and play time. Bring water bottle, snack, skateboard and helmet; safety pads strongly recommended. T-shirt included in fee. Skyhawks Basketball Camp This fun, skill-intensive program is designed with the beginner to intermediate player in mind. Using our progressive curriculum and focusing on the whole player, we teach your child the skills they need to be a better athlete both on and off the courts. Through drills and games, we make it an unforgettable camp experience for your son or daughter. All participants receive a T-shirt and merit award. Wear appropriate clothing/gym shoes. Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect introduction to “America’s Game” or for those who want to brush up on their skills preparing for league play. Through our 'skill of the day', campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks Sports Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron. All campers receive a T-shirt and merit award. Skyhawks Mini-Hawk Camp This multi-sport program for youngsters 4-7 is a positive first step into athletics. A mixture of baseball, soccer, and playground games (sports vary between camps) are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our games and activities are designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. All participants receive a T-shirt and merit award. Skyhawks Multi-Sport Camp Multi-sport camps are designed to introduce athletes to baseball, basketball and flag football in one camp. Sport sampling will allow them to learn different skills, have fun and begin to formulate their passion for a particular sport. This program is designed to motivate children to lead a healthy, active lifestyle while giving them the fundamental skill sets needed to succeed and grow in whichever sport they choose.
