Over the course of eight weeks, your chef will have a chance to create delicious and wholesome meals in a hands-on format. This cooking class focuses on helping your child gain independence in the kitchen and teaching them basic nutrition, meal prep and cooking techniques, all while having fun. Colored pencil is now a celebrated fine art medium in galleries and art communities worldwide. Whether you are new to it, or have been dabbling for a while, this activity is sure to spark your creative juices. Students will create art, explore different artist-grade pencil brands and drawing surfaces and learn new and interesting techniques for colored pencil drawing.

Junior Horse Master - Intermediate

For students with little or no previous riding experience. Intro classes are designed to be repeated to help develop the foundational skills of horsemanship, grooming, saddling and basic riding skills. Students that have mastered grooming, correct riding posture, reining an obstacle course off-lead, and who are able to perform a correct sitting trot will proceed to the novice level.

Designed to offer an opportunity to ride consistently and allow for a more rapid gain of skills, strength and confidence for students that have completed the Intro and novice levels. This class is intended for riders with a mastery of basic horsemanship skills that can ride independently at the walk and trot.

All About: Bats

Little farmers will gather to help out the sheep for the fall season. Children will help clean the sheep pen, give them more hay, bedding, and fresh water, and then take the sheep on a walk for their daily exercise. This class will continue with feeding and care of other barnyard animals as time allows.

Geology Adventures - Geology in Your Backyard

Amber has been treasured since ancient times, and families can find their own specimens on our day trip near Issaquah. On this private access trip, we'll visit the only productive amber locality in the Pacific Northwest. This amber has been waiting 38 million years for your visit!
