New skills for Adults Cheese Making Ages: 16 and up

Come and spend a few hours with Paula Maddison and be taken into the world of sumptuous flavour, ancient craft, history, science, chemistry and food as medicine as you spend time learning and linking with other fine foodies. While learning a delicious and nutritious new skill, you will relish the tastes of succulent cheeses that you can hand craft in your home. Come join John for a great outdoor experience that will cover the process of picking & selling this locally available produce. John will go over the process of what, where, and how to pick the produce plus take you to the finishing station. The class will also cover picking season plus clothing gear and safety aspects. Salal - Pick & Sell Ages: 16 and up

Salal is most commonly used in floral arrangements. During this hands -on class we will cover where to find, how to pick, and tips for bundling the Salal you wish to sell.
