Veterans Day Ceremony Sunday, November 11 11 a.m., O’Fallon Veterans Memorial Walk Everyone is invited to honor and thank our community’s veterans at O’Fallon’s Veterans Memorial Walk.
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony Sunday, December 2 1 p.m., O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) All are welcome to attend a ceremony marking the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, which President Franklin Roosevelt called “a date which will live in infamy.” Thousands of American sailors lost their lives and the U.S. lost half its Pacific fleet, ushering our nation into World War II.

Pumpkin Carving Exhibit Sunday, October 21 1–4 p.m., Historic Heald Home, Fort Zumwalt Park Watch artist Marion Nichols carve an intricate pumpkin masterpiece, and enjoy a display of her carved pumpkins throughout the historic Heald Home. Nichols is also known as the Snowflake Lady at the St. Louis City Museum downtown. The cost is $2 at the door, which includes a tour of the house. Vendors offering unique gifts, decorations, products for entertaining and gourmet foods for the upcoming holiday season will be on hand, and gift baskets will be available for purchase.
