Director’s Message You may have noticed BIG changes happening within the Parks & Recreation Department this past summer. We would like to welcome Tara Woods as our new Recreation Supervisor and bid a fond farewell to Dennis Coyle, as he retired as Director in August. Best of luck to you both! We welcome everyone to participate in our fall and winter recreation programs. Some old, some new but ALL are fun! As always, if you have any suggestions for new programming or activities we would love to hear them! Take a look at what we have to offer, and remember to sign up early to secure your spot. Youth Programs

Youth Programs Youth Basketball

Lace up your court shoes and let’s get to practicing those drills...it’s HOOP TIME! MDSD has arranged yet another awesome season with teams from around our valley and beyond.

Volleyball Skills Camp This 3-day skills camp will provide an opportunity for girls to learn basic volleyball skills and team work in a recreational environment. Registration includes skills volleyball for participants to keep and use during practice.

Practices: December 5-15 Games on Saturday, starting Jan. 7– Feb. 18

Session 1: Grades 3-4

Youth Wrestling

Date: October 25-27

We are partnering with the Optimist Club to offer afterschool wrestling practice and competition for youth. Participants will receive a t-shirt and water bottle with early registration.

Session 2: Grades 5-6 Date: November 15-17 3:15-4:15p B. Morgan School Gym Resident $26, Non-Residents $30

Local Trips & Tours Boise Train Depot, Lunch & BAM Join the Recreation Department as we travel to Downtown Boise for train depot tour, lunch at Cottonwood Grill on the riverfront and finish the tour with the Boise Art Museum. Includes transportation, lunch and admission fees. Depart & return at Senior Center.

Library Events

Centennial Park Bricks Purchase an engraved brick to celebrate, commemorate or dedicate. Your brick will serve as a legacy in Centennial Park in downtown McCall. Funds are used to maintain the plaza grounds. Order forms available at City Hall. Orders done annually; forms due July 31.
