Letter from Mayor Andy Schor Welcome to Lansing Living, your resource for things to do in Lansing! This publication combines the Lansing Parks and Recreation Activities Guide, the Capital Area Recycling and Trash (CART) Greensheet and other important information. In this Fall 2020 issue, you will find a diverse list of activities throughout Lansing for people of all ages, including activities offered by the City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department (September through January) and others. This publication serves as your guide for all of the exciting things happening in Lansing from swim classes for youth, water exercise classes for adults, dance classes, exercise programs, martial arts classes, sports leagues and more. Try something new and enjoy one of the many programs offered by the City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department or our many partners offering activities throughout the City this year.

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, I appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we make changes to our programming and events. Safety is our top priority and we are taking all of the necessary precautions with guidance from the Ingham County Health Department, state of Michigan and CDC. If any changes are made to our programs and/or events, updates will be provided at lansingmi.gov/lansingliving.

It’s an honor to serve as your Mayor of Lansing and I thank you for your continued support in moving our great city forward.

Andy Schor, Mayor
