• The Grande Prairie & District Branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month Sept-Nov and Jan-June. • A short business meeting followed by a Genealogical Program is designed to assist you researching your family tree. Visitors are always welcome! • Every Wednesday from 7 - 9 PM the experienced Genies are in the Isabel Campbell Room of the Public Library to offer assistance to anyone wishing to research their family tree. • Check our website for announcements and updates and for details on our annual full -day fall workshop, featuring a prominent genealogical presenter. This FREE SERVICE to all Library patrons • Come and browse through our genealogical book collection, our obituary indexes and view our census or old newspaper microfilm collection in the Isabel Campbell Room. • Take part in one of our workshops that will assist you sort through the many resources to become more effective in finding information and in checking the accuracy of your work.
