LAKE FRIENDSWOOD PARK Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset Park Acreage: 42 Acres Length of trail: 1 lap = 1.3 miles Type of Fish: • Bass - For largemouth bass, length limit is a 14-18” slot. Bass 14 inches and less or 18 inches or greater in length may be retained. For smallmouth bass (if present), minimum length = 14 inches. Daily bag limit for all bass species = 5 bass in any combination • Catfish - For channel and blue catfish, their hybrids and subspecies, minimum length limit = 12 inches and daily bag limit = 5 in any combination. For flathead catfish, minimum length = 18 inches. • Crappie - For white and black crappie, their hybrids and subspecies, minimum length limit = 10 inches. Daily bag limit = 5 in any combination. • Sunfish - Daily bag limit of 5 on bluegill, red ear, war mouth or other species of sunfish. Park Rules: 1. Park hours are sunrise to sunset 2. Dogs must be on a leash and must adhere to all city pet laws 3. No glass containers 4. No alcohol on premises 5. No loud music 6. Please do not feed the wildlife; violators will be subject up to $500 fine. 7. No gasoline powered motors 8. No hunting allowed 9. One life jacket per person required when in a boat of any kind 10. Rod and reel fishing only 11. Only two fishing rods per person at a time 12. Fishing license required if over the age of 17 13. No selling of any goods or services 14. No motorized vehicles on trails 15. No wading, swimming or scuba diving 16. No littering 17. No fishing traps, noodling, bow fishing, netting, limb lines, or trot lines 18. No cleaning of fish on premises 19. No commercial fishing 20. All ice chests are subject to inspection 21. All fish caught must adhere to slotting regulations 22. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
