ADULT SUMMER READING CLUB

Teens in grades 9–12 help kids in grades 1–4 become better readers. • Poirier Branch • 2:00–3:00 pm Wednesdays, July 3–31 or August 7–28 • City Centre Branch • 2:00–3:00 pm Thursdays, July 4–25 or August 1–29 Application forms will be available at the library and on the library website at the beginning of June.

Join our Adult Summer Reading Club for your chance to win! From June 1 to August 16, read whatever you want–Chick Lit, Non Fiction, Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Sci Fi… Every book you read and review gives you an entry into our weekly prize draw and our Grand Prize Draw. Check our Facebook page and Twitter for reading suggestions.

SUMMER READING CLUB: IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES! Join the annual Kids’ Summer Reading Club and read for seven weeks—49 days—during the summer. You’ll get a special booklet, gather stickers to show your progress, and earn a medal if you complete the challenge! Register at either branch starting June 1.

SUMMER LEARNING ACTIVITIES School-aged kids are invited to drop in for fun this summer. Be dazzled by performers, learn about animals, or settle down to watch a movie– our Summer Learning Activities cover a broad range of children’s interests. A full listing will be available closer to the summer months. The program will run: • Poirier Branch • 10:30–11:30 am Tuesdays, July 2–August 6 • City Centre Branch • 1:30–2:30 pm Wednesdays, July 3 to August 7

READING CLUBS & INNOVATION HUB AT COQUITLAM PUBLIC LIBRARY

There are two ways to register: • In person at the Help Desk at either branch. • Online through the library’s website.

INNOVATION HUB OPEN HOUSE Drop in to the City Centre Branch on Fridays between 2:00–4:00 pm to learn about exciting technology.

• Experience Virtual Reality Adults and teens aged 13 and up: immerse yourself in the world of virtual reality. Each session is approximately 15 minutes. Waiver forms must be signed before participating. May 10 & 24 June 7 & 21

MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER READING CLUB If you’re in grades 6, 7, or 8, join our Middle School Summer Reading Club. Register at the Help Desk, then use our paper forms to write short reviews of the books you read. Your first review will automatically win a book prize. Subsequent reviews will be entered into prize draws all summer long. Register at either branch starting June 1.
