Just for YOUTH!
Youth between the ages of 11 to 18 can drop-in or register for a variety of recreation opportunities to have fun and get active. Youth ages 16 and up may be able to take some of our adult offerings on a case-by-case basis. See the adult section starting on page 68 for programs.

It’s all happening at the Getaway Youth Centre! Come check out our flat screen TV, basketball shoot out, ping pong table, pool table, movie marathons, special cooking events, Wii contests, and much more! Bring your friends or come meet new ones. Explore this positive social space for teens equipped with air hockey, pool, ping pong, video games and more. Youth 11 – 13 years old are welcome to join Fridays and Saturdays from 6 – 10 p.m. All other times are reserved for those 14 yrs +. Ask our youth staff about monthly special events!

MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ONLY! Middle schoolers in grades 6 – 8 take over the Landing Youth Centre on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Check out our pool table, foosball, table tennis, video games, air hockey, fun tourneys and more!
Other Youth Program Opportunities FITNESS (13 yrs +): Boot Camp, Cardio Kick, Pinetree Fitness Challenge, Indoor Cycling, Weight Training, Yoga and Zumba®. GENERAL INTEREST: Art, Babysitter Training, Cooking, Guitar Lessons, Hip Hop and Red Cross First Aid Certification. SPORTS: Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Curling, Dodgeball, Skating, Soccer, Indoor Tennis and Volleyball.
