Vacation, Here I Come!

You’ve heard the saying, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Well, the last thing we want is for you to become dull, so we are happy to offer paid vacation and holiday benefits. VACATION For most, vacation leave is accrued at the rate of approximately eight hours per month, which equates to *12 days per year. That’s almost 2 1/2 work weeks! Whoo hoo! Now, before you push the “BUY NOW” button on that non-refundable ticket to paradise, please make sure your supervisor has approved your time off. After all, we don’t want your ticket to go to paradise without you. HOLIDAYS In addition to *12 days of paid vacation, we also give you *nine days off with pay for select holidays, plus a bonus floating holiday for a total of *ten additional paid days off. When you combine your vacation leave and holiday leave, you are getting *22 paid days off per year. That is more than four (40-hour) workweeks per year-BAM! Our observed holidays are New Year’s Day, Idaho Human Rights (MLK Jr.) Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. *Calculation based on a regular full-time employee who works five eight-hour days per week.
