*IMPORTANT: Registration will begin on Aug. 8 and run thru Aug. 19, or until all 20 slots are filled, whichever comes first. Start Smart Soccer is a developmentally appropriate introductory soccer program for children 3-4 years old. The program prepares children for organized soccer without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work one-on-one with their children while they spend quality time with them. Age appropriate soccer equipment is used to teach kicking, dribbling, trapping, throw ins and agility.   

 

Child HAS to be 3 before August 1, 2011 Child CANNOT turn 5 before August 1, 2011 $85 registration fee includes: o 1 Teslon Soccer Ball o 1 Size 3 Soccer Ball o 1 Participant’s Manual o 1 Set of Shin Guards o 4 Cones o 1 T-shirt o 1 Participation Medal One hour sessions on Tuesday nights at 6:00 Program will last for six weeks

New Alabaster Senior Center is located at: 1097 7th St. SW (It’s beside the old Alabaster YMCA with the swimming pool. From Hwy. 31, Turn onto Hwy. 119. Turn right at the second red light at Mill House Natural Foods. Cross over the railroad tracks and drive straight into the Senior Center parking lot.) SCISC (Shelby County Instructional Services Center) is located at: 601 First Street South (Just south of the Hwy. 119/Hwy. 31 Intersection – SCISC is on the left. Meet in the gym.)
