To get you through a long cold winter, we tapped our favourite chefs, sommeliers and bartenders and challenged them to design some tempting tastes and amped up flavours that you can try at home. Their recipes riff on some winter classics, like rich onion soup, choucroute garnie, and croquembouche. But we’ve got curve balls too—think: hakka-style noodle soup with truffles, crispy lamb bellies with rosemary, seabream sashimi with cranberry ponzu. (Plus, wine and sake pairings, and Dave Mitton’s killer cocktails.) No need to be intimidated, these aren’t all as challenging as they sound!
