Welcome to Camp descriptions! Please find camp descriptions listed in alphabetical order. All camps are located at the Orinda Community Center unless otherwise stated.

Extended Care Options Extended Care, AM

WEEKS: 1–10 New this summer! The City is offering morning extended care from 7:00 am–9:00 am. Staff will provide games, activities and crafts for your child until it is time for their morning camp. At 9:00 am all campers will be dropped off at their morning camp (this only pertains to camps taking place at the Orinda Community Center and Pine Grove Park). This service is being offered free of charge. Space is limited, you must sign up to attend. AGES: 4–14Y

Extended Care, Lunch Bunch Camp

WEEKS: 1–10 Let us create a full day camp for you, as you choose your own adventure! If your child is enrolled in a morning camp at the Orinda Community Center or Pine Grove Park, and an afternoon camp at the Orinda Community Center or Pine Grove Park, we will have City Camp Staff pick your child up, supervise a lunch period, play fun games and create exciting projects with them. At the end of each lunch bunch, staff will drop your child off at their afternoon camp. Please provide your own lunch. Must sign up to attend. AGES: 4–14Y

PM Extended Care

WEEKS: 1–10

New this summer! The City is offering afternoon extended care from 4:00 pm–6:00 pm. Staff will provide games, activities and crafts for your child after their afternoon camp. At 4:00 pm all campers will be picked up from their afternoon camp (this only pertains to camps taking place at the Orinda Community Center and Pine Grove Park) and supervise them until pick up by parents at 6:00 pm. Space is limited, you must sign up to attend. AGES: 4–14Y

Adventure Art Camp

WEEKS: 1, 7, 10 Join us as we tour the globe learning about the world’s finest cities, recreating sites, sounds and artifacts from each location. Students will create a passport and get it stamped each day as we focus on San Francisco, New York, Paris, Tokyo and London. AGES: 6–12Y

INSTRUCTOR: ADVENTURE STAFF

Adventure Games Camp

WEEKS: 4, 6 Does your child have boundless energy? Does your child like to play? If so then games camp is the camp for you! Non-stop games each week, from tag and playground games, to sports and board games, each day is filled with endless action. No camp 7/4. AGES: 6–12Y

INSTRUCTOR: ADVENTURE STAFF

Art Camp

WEEKS: 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 Students learn new skills, use a variety of media, and extend their understanding of art concepts. Each week has a different theme. Spend a week drawing, painting, and creating 3-D art. Daily projects incorporate a variety of skills and use media such as graphite and colored pencils, watercolor and tempura paints, pastels, paper mache, yarn, and more. Bring a daily snack. AGES: 5–7Y, 5–10Y
