National Academy of Athletics

This co-ed basketball camp by National Academy of Athletics is designed to help your child become more confident with the basketball in their hands. Ball handling drills, shooting fundamentals, passing, team concepts will be combined with games and other small-sided competitions. Our experienced staff will help your child to walk away a better, more inspired player! This program was designed to teach young athletes the fundamentals of basketball through play. Each day, participants will be broken into teams to compete in a series of skill-based drills and games that focus developing their skills, confidence, and passion for the game. Our primary development objectives include dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, strategy, agility, self-esteem, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Skyhawks coaches provide a positive environment where players of all ages and abilities can participate in friendly competition with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun! All participants receive a Skyhawks t-shirt and award medal.

ART HOLIDAY CAMP

Students learn new skills, use a variety of media, and extend their understanding of art concepts. Each week has a different theme. Spend a week drawing, painting, and creating 3 dimensional art. Daily projects incorporate a variety of skills and use media such as graphite and colored pencils, watercolor and tempera paints, pastels, paper mache, yarn, and other materials. Bring a daily snack. $25 material due to instructor on the first day of camp. Location: Community Center, Room 6 Barcode Dates
