We’ve also updated the TaMM to correlate with the IAAP branding protocols. All our chapter documents will be updated in the coming weeks. Please discontinue using the old logo in any of your materials and online presence. If you need a copy of the chapter logo for your social media presence please send me an email and we will send it your way. What’s The Buzz Office Ninjas Office Ninjas is the place where office professionals and technology meet. I had the privilege of attending a recent networking event held in Santa Monica and look forward to future events. It was a great place to meet administrative professionals and learn about new technology to save us time and money. To order from any of our listed sponsors please follow the below instructions. We have also included a link to The Foundation of IAAP Miche Bag fundraiser. While not a direct sponsor of Citrus Valley Chapter, the Foundation is a benefit to all members and we’d like to show our support. Our newest item for Ways and Means has arrived. It is an external power bank that can be used to help keep you connected on your 3G, 4G and 5G devices, and can be used on both Apple and Android devices. The units will be priced at $12/each or 2/$20. To provide you with the best and first selection, we will offer a “friends” discount at the September 3rd meeting; individual units will be sold for $10 at this meeting, a savings of $2/unit. Each unit is individually boxed and is a perfect gift for both genders. This would make a great stocking stuffer. Quartermania – September 22, 2013, Downey, CA If you have not heard about it, I am told it is a fast, fun filled auction like fundraiser that has been ramping up throughout southern California. Your buy in of $20 buys you a paddle and auction rights. Items are put up by different vendors that you bid on using quarters you bring to the event; it is suggested you bring $15-$20 in quarters in addition to your buy in fee. Many items sell for much lower than their valued price. For additional information, please contact Maria Fontaine at marias247store@me.com. Release Your Inner Nerd Beth Ziesinis, aka Beth Z., your nerdy best friend, has released her second book, “Release Your Inner Nerd: Apps, Tech Tools and Tips to Get Organized, Get Creative and Get Ahead.” Click here to be directed to www.amazon.com and purchase your own issue of Release Your Inner Nerd.
