LEVEL 3 BTEC CERTIFICATE/NATIONAL EXTENDED DIPLOMA IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE • This course helps build the necessary practical skills and understanding to provide learners with a firm grounding in the principles of health and social care, enabling progression into employment or higher education. • The BTEC Certificate course carries the equivalence of 1 GCE AS Level (with the opportunity for progression to an equivalent A-Level) • The BTEC Extended Diploma course carries the equivalence of 3 GCE A Levels.
