For example take the number 7; it is not divisible by any of the numbers except 1 and 7 itself. It should be noticed that the natural numbers which are more than one and do not come under the category of the prime numbers come under the category of another type of the numbers which are said to be the composite. For example 8 is a natural number which comes under the category of the numbers which are composite because it is not only divisible by the numbers 1 and 8 itself but is also divisible by the numbers 2 and 4 and thus it is not a prime number. It should be remembered here that 1 is neither a prime number nor it is a composite number.
