“As a painter I strive to express the spirit of nature, inspired through by the surroundings of my remote home in the woods of Northern Idaho. Using an expressive approach I mix vantage points, light and weather with wilderness flora. Currently, I am in the process of overlaying forms of wilderness with those of civilization as a way to explore the grace and conflict I find between the two.”
