DEATHS Rita Barnett Rita Jean Barnett, 73, of Hebron, died Sept. 20 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She worked for Zale’s Jewelry Store as a regional manager before retiring. She enjoyed collecting angels, country music, especially Willie Nelson, and watching TV shows such as “The Price is Right” and crime investigation. Her husband, Donald “Barney” Reed Barnett, died previously. Survivors include her children, Mike Giordano, Bridgit Hallam and Julie Smith; and seven grandchildren along with six great-grandchildren. Ronald Bright Ronald Lee Bright, 72, of Florence, died Sept. 21.
Genevieve Bruder Genevieve Bruder, 63, of Florence, died Sept. 23. She served tables at Rugby’s and Willie’s in Florence. Her brothers, Jerry and David Sweet, died previously. Survivors include her husband, Rudolf E. Bruder; son, Rudolf D. Bruder; sisters, Ann Beck and Melody St. Angel; and brothers, Ronny Sweet and Charles Sweet. Mae Foley Mae Frances Foley, 87, of Walton, died Sept. 18 at St. Elizabeth Florence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Walton and enjoyed reading
and watching UK basketball. Her daughter, Bobby Ann Foley Hils; and siblings, Bob Todd, Gary Todd, Pauline Todd, and Wallace Todd Duncan, died previously. Survivors include her husband, Ed Foley; sons, Eddie Wayne Foley, Jerry Foley, and Darrell Foley; sister, Johnnie Lou Todd Adams; and nine grandchildren along with 15 greatgrandchildren. Marion Kemper Marion Margaret Kemper, 94, of Florence, died Sept. 23 at St. Elizabeth Florence. She was an active and independent woman who worked as a clerk for General Electric for 44 years. She enjoyed going to Cincinnati Reds games and had a passion for theater.Her brother, Albert Kemper; and sister, Bernice Utz,

Margaret McCane Margaret Tomlin McCane, 91, of Pendleton County and formerly of Boone County, died Sept. 22. Her husband, Clarence McCane; and granddaughter, Carrie Buschle Burch, died previously. Survivors include her children, Marian McCane Miller of Covington, Judy McCane Steinhaus of Falmouth, Cheryl McCane Buschle of Independence, Gloria McCane Hunt of Fort Thomas, Jennifer McCane Gabbard of Ludlow, Jimmie McCane of Union, and Clarence McCane of Union; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bobby Pate Bobby Lee Pate, 76, of Florence, died Sept. 21 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was born in Ashburn, Georgia and owned Bobby Pate Racing Stables, where he trained thoroughbred race horses, which was his passion. His brothers, Floyd, Loren, Steve, David, and Ronnie; and sisters, Ida Pate and Dorothy “Dot” Larson, died previously. Survivors include his children, Bobby Pate and Nancy Pate; brother, Craig Pate; and four grandchildren.
Agnes Rogers Agnes “Aggie” Nunnally Rogers, 77, of Walton, died Sept. 22 at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Walton Christian Church. She enjoyed quilting, painting, and crocheting. Her husband, William Gene Rogers, died previously. Survivors include her children, Gene Rogers, Millie Parker, Connie Pike, and Susan Preece; and 11 grandchildren along with 16 great-grandchildren. Rosemary Stidham Rosemary Caserta Stidham, 88, of Florence, died Sept. 18 at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills. She worked for Western Union in Marion, Ohio and Cincinnati as a telegrapher and clerk, was a member of Community Family Church, where she volunteered as an usher, and was very involved in her widows group. She enjoyed cooking and even had her own restaurant,
“Grant’s,” where she was head chef. She also liked flowers, especially roses, music, and dancing. She was most passionate about her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her husband, Lee James Stidham; and son, Christopher James Stidham, died previously. Survivors include her children, Grant Stidham, Mark Stidham, Cathy Lee Caserta, Bert Stidham, Lee Stidham, Bonnie Wartman, Daniel Stidham, Steven Stidham, Leslie Stidham, and Sally Hicks; brother, Chris Caserta; and 38 grandchildren along with 37 great-grandchildren. Douglas Whittamore Douglas Whittamore, 70, of Union, died Sept. 19 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and was a huge wrestling fan. His brothers, Tony and Tim Whittamore, died previously. Survivors include his children, Doug Whittamore, Shane Whittamore, Nikki Whittamore, Danny Whittamore, Heather West, and Chad Fields; brothers, Danny, Ed, and Steve Whittamore; lifelong love, Connie Fields; and 12 grandchildren along with 10 great-grandchildren. Interment with full military honors was at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorials: Victory Tabernacle Church, 115 N. Main St., Suite 6, Crittenden, KY 41030.
