The CIMI is the first International Congress of the Real Estate Market in Brazil. A major global event intended to generate real estate business, aiming at the promotion of the country’s international market. In view of the large volume of national and international investments that have propelled the Brazilian real estate sector, the exchange of information, as well as how to elucidate operational, legal, fiscal doubts among other topics, is one of the goals of the CIMI, which intends to eliminate these doubts and provide the participants with meetings for relationship and professional business rounds leading to global business. With the proposal to promote lectures, debates and seminars as well as an exhibition space, the CIMI will have several auditoriums to promote topics relevant to the real estate market, such as consortia, financing, capture of resources, investment funds, administration, law and legislation, subdivision and planned communities, sustainability, meetings of realtors.

The year of 2012 is special for the COFECI, since the Council proudly celebrates its Fiftieth Anniversary. The Setor Imobiliário magazine is a publication of the Setor Publishing, focused in Brazil’s Real Estate sector, featuring articles with themes from different areas of interest to the professionals in this market. There are 200,000 copies bi-weekly, distributed to realtors, real estate developers, builders, banks, investors, organizations, institutions and authorities. Brazilian Confederation of Convention & Visitors Bureaus The Brazilian Confederation of Convention & Visitors Bureaus consists of 108 Convention & Visitors Bureaus in Brazil in the major cities in Brazil. The greatest GNP of tourism of the country will be represented by this confederation. Besides of Brazil’s growth in the Real Estate market due to the increase in tourism related to the great scheduled international sporting events, 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics, these tourism entities are important vectors of opportunities and development. Therefore, the Brazilian Confederation of Convention & Visitors Bureaus supports CIMI and they will hold meetings and workshops focused of the impact of sporting events on the Real Estate market before, during and after these events. There will be a meeting of the officials of the host cities of the 2014 World Cup and of the Rio de Janeiro state, where the Olympics will be held in 2016. Panels, lectures and debates focused on the demands and needs of the Real Estate market and how to fulfill and meet all the scheduled deadlines.
