Spring Camps Refund Information & Policy

Enrollments for Sports camps thru National Academy of Athletics must be done on their website www.nationalacademyofathletics.com

Recreation Classes, Camps and Swim Lessons A full refund or credit will be issued for all classes or camps cancelled by the City of La Mesa and/or the independent contract instructor. Customer may request a change, refund or credit no later than one week prior to start date. A $10.00 processing fee (per person, per enrollment) will be deducted. No cancellation fee will be deducted if customer places refund as a credit on their account. Credit on account will be valid for one year from the date of issue and may be applied to another recreation enrollment , facility rental or park permit. If the credit is not used after one year, the funds will be forfeited and applied to the Youth Scholarship Fund. Once a credit has been issued, it cannot be exchanged for a refund. There are NO CASH REFUNDS. All check refunds will be mailed approximately 2-3 weeks after a request has been received. Except as otherwise provided in this policy, if a registrant fails to attend a program after it begins, the registrant is not entitled to a refund. Exceptions may be authorized by the Director of Community Services. A doctor’s note or written request describing the extenuating circumstances must be submitted to the Community Service Department.

Facility Rentals and Park Permits All cancellations of Facility Rentals made after the executed contract will be subject to a $10.00 processing fee in addition to:  10 days after the executed contracts until 90 days prior to the event: All deposits and fees stated in the contract will be 50% refundable.  Less than 90 days prior to the event date: All fees and deposits stated in the contract will be forfeited. Once issued, Park Use Permits are nonrefundable. In the event of rain, Community Services Department will re-issue the Park Use Permit with a change of date.

Puppy Play Time Out N’About Dog Training (ages 18 & up) Skip the dog park and come play with us in a safe, social and structured environment meant for dogs UNDER 6 months of age. Ballet B La Mesa’s Pickleball Pickleball is played on the tennis court in Collier Park at 4401 Palm Ave. The tennis court is striped for four Pickleball Courts. The Dance Company (ages 5 & up) Children will learn basic steps, rhythms, and combinations as well as musicality and agility. Significance is placed on the articulation of tap sounds while working to perform them with proper technique, style and presentation. Tap shoes and proper dance attire are required. Babysitter Training Lockhart Training (ages 11 - 16) A fun, hands-on community education program for youth ages 11 to 16 years. This class will help babysitters become better prepared by practicing infant skills on dolls and CPR for infants and children. Topics include: babysitter responsibilities, sitter safety, diapering procedures, recognizing an emergency, and basic first aid. Participants receive a booklet from American Safety & Health Institute, babysitter certificate and starter first aid kit.
