The Business Catalogue of Georgian and Armenian business operators was prepared for the 16-month “Cross-border Economic Development (CED)” project co-funded by the European Union within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation (EaPTC) programme.
The catalogue consisting of the enterprises operating in Kvemo Kartli and Tavush regions, has been prepared based on the Baseline Study conducted during the period of December 2015 – February 2016. It intends to provide detailed information about the main economic sectors developed in the regions, as well as the cross-border cooperation, trade, and investment opportunities.
The selected business entities cover the following fields of activities: agriculture (cheese production, poultry and pig breeding, cultivation of vegetables and fruit), manufacturing (food products, beverages, tobacco, textiles, chemicals, basic metals, metal fabrication, electrical and optical equipment), and services (tourism).
