Criteria  C:  Reflection  and  Evaluation  Rubric   Description  of  IICS  MYP  Music  Criteria  C  Reflection  Guidelines      Aesthetic   Aesthetic  reflections  are  based  on  your  personal  feelings  or  reactions  to  your  own  art  or  the  art  of  others  and  your  feelings  about   your  personal  growth  as  an  artist.    These  reflections  do  not  have  to  be  based  in  fact  and  can  describe  what  you  think  or  feel  rather   than  what  you  know.   Procedural   These   reflections   include   information   based   on   the   process   you   went   through   from   point   A   to   point   B.     These   reflections   can   include  strategies,  attempts,  failures,  successes,  plans,  consequences,  and  plans  for  future  the  future  based  on  your  experiences.   Analytical   Analytical   reflections   center   around   reflecting   on   your   work   based   upon   knowledge   of   other   artists,   historical/Cultural   influences,   or   other   concrete   knowledge   about   your   artistic   discipline.     These   reflections   should   help   explain   what   you   know   about   your   artistic   discipline   in   relation   to   your   work.     You   can   compare   your   work   to   other   artists,   explain   a   convergence   of   styles   in   your   art,   or   otherwise   demonstrate   how   knowledge   has   influenced   your   artistic   process.     This   type   of   reflection   is   differentiated   with   Criteria   A   in   that   Criteria   A   asks   that   you   ‘know’   without   asking   you   to   apply   that   knowledge   to   your   own   artistic  journey.
