Yang Yongliang blends ancient Chinese landscape traditions with modern digital technology. Trained in traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy since childhood, he transforms the classic “shanshui” (mountain and water) style into striking digital artworks that comment on rapid urbanization. At first glance, his works appear to be traditional Chinese ink paintings. Look closer, and you’ll discover cityscapes made of countless skyscrapers, cranes, and power lines, all meticulously arranged to mimic the flow of traditional landscapes. Like water that adapts to any container, Yang’s art flows between past and present, creating a powerful dialogue about development and tradition. 楊泳梁將中國古典山水傳統與現代數 碼技術融為一體。從小受到傳統國畫 與書法訓練的他，把經典山水畫法轉 化為數碼藝術作品，對快速城市化提 出深刻思考，並對傳統山水提出叩問 及回應。
