BAMBOOK

The Bambook is designed as a small bookcase in the open air. This public bookcase is a cupboard of books which serves to offer books for exchange or take away free of charge, anonymously and without any formalities. Due to the open construction, created by the bamboo struts, an optimal light flooding of the structure is created.

The aim was to design a seating furniture which is easy to transport, uncomplicated and quick to assemble and comfortable to carry. The circular cut-outs allow an ideal carrying handle for both large and small people and at the same time the weight is minimized.

seen in the building envelope. Due to the irregular break-through of the wooden faรงade, a kind of tree / root structure is created on the outside, which fits ideally into the green area planned outside. This creates a space that is completely open to the outside world.

The rehabilitation clinic consists of several individual building units. Up to eight patients can be admitted per unit. Due to the free arrangement of the individual building units, the entire clinic area appears more open than conventional hospitals. It is important not to "lock the patient up" but to let him feel the direct relation to nature everywhere. The close relationship to nature can already be

MONOPOD

The Monopod is constructed as a desk. The special thing about the piece of furniture is that the single slanting base, which keeps the entire writing surface in balance. This balance is maintained by means of lead weights incorporated in the base. This means that the table can be loaded with 50 kg at the longest lifting arm. The interplay of the oak table top and the attractive lacquered base creates an elegant interplay of colours. Through a filigree elliptical opening in the tabletop, cables can be left through the inside of the stand. The cantilevered table top makes it ideal for sitting with several people around them.
