Workshop Information Established by a group of teachers and artists in 1974, Reverse Garbage offers an innovative and comprehensive tour, workshop and festival program. We work with schools, TAFE, universities, local governments, libraries, community groups and waste educators to teach creative reuse and promote best practices in sustainability. We offer a range of workshops in-line with school curriculums and specific events, celebrations and initiatives that are constantly changing. We can also work with you to develop special workshops for your school or organisation. A team of specialist educators and artists conduct the workshops with a focus on creativity, the reduction of waste and the conservation of resources. An abundance of interesting reuse materials and all tools are provided for workshops. We can come to you or you can join us on-site for a workshop and/or tour of our wonderful warehouse. Tours of our huge Marrickville depot are ideal for those studying early childhood, primary, secondary education, community cultural development, environmental education as well as fine arts and design. Full day workshops at festivals, expos, community and corporate events are also part of our expertise. We also provide training in creative sustainability for those in art, craft, design and environmental education. Our training incorporates programs for early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary educators. We also specialise in art and design, ideas and activities for people with disabilities, the aged and their carers.
