If you haven't been active for awhile, start slowly and build up to more moderate exercises. Ideally, you should get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate aerobic exercise and do strength training twice a week, according to the Mayo Clinic. That is less than 3 hours of aerobic exercising per week, that's should be doable for anyone.
