| Lieutenant Governor’s Letter | Hello lovely Key Clubbers, It’s hard to believe that I was elected to be your Lt. Governor just a year ago. Now, I have my successor, and my term is nearly over! I’ll about be around for 2 more months, so let’s make the best of the rest of the year we have left! Hopefully, you’ve made some plans for Valentine’s day! And don’t forget, DCON season is coming! Be sure to register early to avoid any late registration fees. Then, you can save some money for da honeys. I’ll be spending my Valentine’s day doing last minute scholarship applications, probably. What about you?

| Divisional News | Seniors, need extra money for college? Apply for the T-O Foundation scholarship! Go to for the Key Club scholarship. Applications must be postmarked by February 15th. Congratulations to your new Lt. Governor-Elect, Usman Hyder! He will take office after DCON, so start becoming familiar with him. Also, thanks to all the candidates who ran on Saturday! It’s hard to put yourself out there, and you all did splendidly.

It’s almost the end of the year! That means it’s time for

CLUB ELECTIONS!!!! Let me know when your elections are, so I can see if I’m free. Send all your officer-elects contact information to me at after your elections. Don’t forget that everyone completed the Governor’s Project at FTC this year. Fill out the completion forms to get a patch!

| Key Leader | Key Leader for the February 1st to the 3rd date is moved now to: April 26th to the 28th at the Glen Rose Riverbend Retreat Center. The cost of Key Leader is $145 for a whole weekend of lodging and food. Talk to your Kiwanis Club today to see how they can help with your club officers and any potential leaders attending this event!

DCON Registration is now open!!! Register today to get the best seats and the discounted $110 convention registration fee.

Worried about paying for DCON? Talk to your Kiwanis club to see how they can help! Remember, there are a lot of fun contests at DCON to enter! Seniors, you have to go to DCON if you want any scholarships from the T-O Foundation.

Each club is allowed 2 voting delegates at the House of Delegates! Be sure to send at least 2 people to DCON. Also, it’s a nice way to celebrate a hard year of service.
