Newly renovated; The Exchange
It’s been another busy year throughout Big Sky with much excitement surrounding growth and upgrades. The Wilson Hotel opened this summer and brought with it more dining and shopping options in Town Center. Two new restaurants opened as well as a clothing boutique, all of which are adjacent to the hotel. The Big Sky Community Organization has broken ground on the new community center which will offer a multi-use, flexible space that will evolve as our community moves forward. Speaking of growth and community, the Big Sky Resort Area District commissioned a study to determine just how to allocate resort tax funds with results being reviewed in a series of meetings in the coming months. As part of the Big Sky 2025 plan, Big Sky Resort has given the former Mountain Mall a $15 million remodel and a new name: The Exchange. The Lone Peak Café has been transformed into The Vista Hall, a new food and beverage venue and outdoor seating area, complete with spectacular Lone Mountain views and two indoor fireplaces. Upgraded offerings include: stone fired pizza, sushi, deli, tacos, grill, full-service bar and a top of the line coffee bar. The seating area has been expanded to 750 seats, with three garage doors that blend the patio with indoor seating. This stellar location may also be booked for weddings and private events in the summer months. A new elevator makes it an easy trip from the parking level to The Vista Hall. Improvements to the main level of The Exchange include doubling the bathroom capacity and a heated outdoor plaza. The ground floor has added bathrooms, cubbies, lockers, elevator and changing areas. It truly is an exciting time for our mountain town. Big Sky real estate is still booming, especially with all the development taking place, and now is the time to buy. Though we are still experiencing some of the lowest inventory we’ve seen in over a decade, there are still wonderful opportunities in our resort area and we would welcome the chance to share them with you! If this is your first time visiting Big Sky, you are just starting your home search, or you’d like an overview of just how much Big Sky has grown, head over to page 5 for a detailed look at market trends over the last three years. If you find you have questions, or see a property you are interested in, within this collection, please feel free to reach out to any of us here at PureWest Christie’s as it would be our pleasure to share our joy of Big Sky with you. Sincerely, Your Team at PureWest Christie’s International Real Estate Big Sky 1
