About Myself

Quirky Me

This will be my second year in the education program and my last year at RDC and let me tell you how excited I am! A little bit about myself first though, I was in French Immersion from Kindergarten all the way to my graduation in Grade 12, and was fortunate to have more or less the same classmates throughout my education. After this year I intend, assuming marks are high enough, to attend the University of Lethbridge for the final three years of the program. Myself in my Graduation tuxedo

Summer Fun This past summer I went to Banff with a bunch of friends as a farewell of sorts. We had a ton of fun, despite my complete inability to set up the tent and my deflated air mattress. The highlight Myself (right), Donna Sim (middle and Valerie Carbajal of the trip was the hot (left) in Banff National Park springs and seeing the sleeping buffalo mountain which, to this day, I insist looks nothing like a sleeping buffalo.

My favourite movie is a tie between Forest Gump and Slapshot. I like to think I like running, though this is heavily dependant on how early in the morning I’m doing the running. I have two cats at home named Shrike and Mungo. I was a vegetarian for 7 years until very recently and I essentially live off caffeine.

Ever since my fifth birthday I’ve been on hockey skates, often Myself playing slo-pitch walking around the house dressed up in full equipment ready to go. On top of that, I played recreational slo-pitch with college friends over the summer, which was an absolute blast! Despite coming in last place through the regular season and losing eveMyself playing goal. Sort of. ry game in the round robin, we managed to win our division. Quite an ending! We will likely be returning to the Blackfalds slo-pitch league in the coming summer, and I have signed up for a recreational hockey team here in Red Deer. For obvious reasons, my favourite hockey team is the Montreal Canadians! Go Habs Go!
