Far more than a Bible class or chapel service squeezed in between other subjects, Christian education takes every course– math, English, social studies, science and all others – and teaches content through the lens of scripture. By doing so, students learn all topics through what is called a Biblical worldview.
At Christian Academy, we desire for students to grow in wisdom (discerning mind), stature (physical and emotional maturity) and in favor with God (spiritual relationship) and men (social relations).
For students to grow in these areas, we focus on the heart, and developing every child’s heart for God. This means that we must not only teach the character of God’s heart – love, compassion, grace, mercy, kindness, patience, plus others - but we must demonstrate these characteristics ourselves as teachers, staff, administrators, and coaches, as we know students often learn best by behavior that is modeled.
