Tasting oysters in boxing gloves KEHLATTAN Studio of Georges HEINTZ October 2017- February 2018 MASTER 1
This project originates in the crossing of transport networks (tram, train, car, pedestrian, bike...). The purpose was to make an attractive center. Each tower have a particular program: one media center, one vertical gymnasium and one tower of housing. Materialities (steel and white concrete) strengthen contrast. A relationship between empty space and full space is also set up in facades. This project is in connection with his context, by the continuity of the path of the Garden of Both Banks, by the opening of the project on the padel center in the North and by the ending of the main street of Kehl. View from the sea
This project has for origin the integration in the slope of the land, from street to the sea. Therefore, we can decompose this project in three parts:
the ground, the base and the building. Thus the emergent part of the building is only a part of the

program which also develops in the base: we find A
the amphitheater which go up to the sea. B
Furthermore, we notice that the various levels
and trays are put in relations with the others by double heights or patios. GSEducationalVersion
These drillings are shifted between floors to
create perspectives between programs. A route
was created on the outside parts of the project, which lead up to the roof. C
One of specific aspect of the project is the design of bedrooms.
Protected of heat and direct sunlight, they are structured by two strips: one is the sleeping part and one is the bathroom and patio. This space GSEducationalVersion

are only open to the sky, creating a particular atmosphere.
This center is a space thought as an interiorized place, sometimes opening on the sea or the beach.

The origine of this project comes from the shape of the historic urban fabric, characterized by littles courtyards between buildings. It gives the volumetric of the museum. By this way, it consists on one simple component put on a base. Drillings on it will established peculiarity of the volume. The purpose was to created interiorized place. That’s why I choose this monolithic
aspect, with few openings on the outside and the landscape. VIEW FROM THE MAIN STAIRS, 3e

Moreover, one of the strong idea of the project is the interweaving of spaces.
Indeed, exhibition rooms combine with each others created different spaces and atmospheres.
Galleries are mostly opaque or have just one or two openings to arranging the scenography of works of the artists.
Conversely, views on urbanscape will be generous in intermediate spaces, like for exemple in the main central stairs.

Realized in collaboration with Julien BROCKER and Sergio BARAJAS
Situated at the gates of Strasbourg towards Germany, it occupies a privileged position. This project takes place between two differents urbans fabric: neighbourhood from the 1960s in the South, and one from the 1930s, composed mainly of classic buildings, in the North. Thus, this building mixes two materialities to translate mixes of styles: steel and bricks. It accounts 40 apartments (from 1 bedroom apt to 4 bedrooms apt) and provides shops, bike parking, bookstore or grocery. To created a link with the tram station, the south part of the building rise (of 9°3) to response to the height south towers, and created an open place in the heart of the plot. The slope allowed to establish housing with terraces which offers cathedral views, and to created a specific sequence of access (cf longitudinal section).
Cube3 _ Fictitious ground Studio of Dominique NEIDLINGER: Housing space Februar 2016- March 2016 LICENCE 3
Realized in collaboration with Julien BROCKER and Sergio BARAJAS
Cube3 has as a base a concrete module of 5m x 5m x 3m, reproduced and put together in order to created bi-oriented apartments with terraces for each housing. Next, they are placed on three volumes (basements), providing shops, bookstores and restaurants. This three buildings are linked by two gateways. They bound the public space and the private collective garden behind the project. The height is adapted to the neighboring buildings in order to keep continuity in the new created urban fabric. This project was designed for a four people family: two children and their parents. It is a full-foot house and it has a surface of 122 m². This one was conceived according to the orientation of the sun: bedrooms are in the east to benefits the morning sun. The leavingroom is towards the south-west to take advantage of the afternoon sunlight. Differents levels of roofs allowed to get zenithal light, and also to separate the parts of the house. Bedrooms and bathrooms don’t need more than 2.30 m of ceiling. Then, the hall and the kitchen have a ceiling of 2,80 m and finally, the leaving space is a 4,00 m height room. Moreover, each house spaces have his own terrace or exterior place. The fireplace, which refers to Louis Kahn and Esherick villa, is a distinctive feature of this project. But it is especially to Franck Lloyd Wright that this project refers because of the work on the horizontality and the mixed use of wood and stone.
