Photo of the assessment sheet •
This is a photo of my assessment sheet out of the book. I will work and do the things I have not yet passed on the sheet.
Describe lens base image making:
• lens base image making ? It is using a lens to capture an image and making a copy of it in a photograph. So any camera that has some form of lens be it a compact camera SLR or a DSLR camera you will be making a lens base image. Ways of geHng a photograph with out using lens base imagery are using such opIons as Contact prinIng, pinhole photography and such are not lens based imaging.

The understanding of these words: •
The theme I picked is love and hate:
The deforma=on of love is:
The English word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and aHtudes, ranging from pleasure ("I loved that meal") to interpersonal aQracIon("I love my partner"). It can refer to an emoIon of a strong affecIon and personal aQachment. It can also be a virtue represenIng human kindness, compassion, and affecIon "the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". And it may describe compassionate and affecIonate acIons towards other humans, one's self or animals.
The deforma=on of hate is:
hate is a deep and emoIonal extreme dislike that can be directed against individuals, enIIes, objects, or ideas. Hatred is oOen associated with feelings of angry and a disposiIon towards hosIlity. Commonly held moral rules, such as the Golden Rule, oppose universal hatred towards another.
Examples of Lens based image making
EvaluaIon of lens image making •
As you can see in the photo on the leO. The use of a lens has made you be able to look in more detail at the image and has made the hole photo a lot shaper and easier to see. There isn't any blur on the photo it is sharp when you look at it. The use of light in this photo makes the viewers eye go straight to the two people in umbrellas and this makes you focus on them. Also the fact that the photograph is very balanced helps the eye to focus on what is going on it the middle of the photo.
Non contemporary lens based imagery
These images have been taken with a pin hole camera. As you can see the out side edges of a pin hole photo are normally black and the center of the photo is a lot lighter.
EvaluaIon of pin hole image making.
I think this is one of the strongest images I have found for a pin hole camera. The reason I like this is because I like the way the image has come out very sharp. I feel that this makes the photo look some what more interesIng and is able to hold my interest for a lot longer I think that this is a well proporIoned photograph and I think that the photo looks really good in black and white.
EvaluaIon of lens based image making •
From looking at the two forms of image making I have come to the conclusion that. That I will use contemporary image making in my project the reason I have decided to use this is because I feel that this would be playing to my strong points and would give me more freedom to play around with the camera I also feel that this would be the more pracIcal one to pick the reason I think this is because it is easier for me to get a digital SLR than to make a pin hole camera and get the film developed.
I also feel that I will be able to edit these photos a lot easier if I use a digital SLR camera. I feel that from looking at both forms or lens based imagery, I have learnt that I can do most of the effects and that I could do on a pin hole camera I can recreate using Photoshop.
Photos from unit 32
These photos are from unit 32. I have decided to use these images in this unit as we because the units are geHng marked to gather. I have decided that these images will
Turning into pin hole
I think that the edits have came out really well. I think that the strongest images are the 1st two photos have worked the best. I think the photos use the circles as frame within a frame. I like the way the hair on the first photo is the same colour as the Int I have put on the edit.
Comparing the photos
• I think the effect I have put on the photos I have taken worked really well I think that the lighIng works really well and I think that the way the centre of the photo is much lighter than the edges of the photo. As you can see from my edit the effects I have made looks really similer. The only thing I think I have over looked is the colour of the Int. This was an error I made I didn’t put the black and white affect onto the photo. This will be the next step in my edits.
The final effects
These are my final affects I have put over my photo to make them look like they have been taken with a pin hole camera. I have used the informaIon that I have found out from looking at pin hole camera's photos and I have reused the informaIon in making my photos. I have used the darkening the outer edge of the photo and I have corrected the colours of the photo I also changed the exposure of the before I took the photo.
EvaluaIon of my lens based images •
From looking at pin hole photography I have feel I was able to capture, The feeling of the effect using Photoshop. I think that I did the right thing by making the photos black and white. This completed the effect, and gives the feeling that you are looking at a pin hole photo.
