Movies Under The Stars™

3. A relaxed, rejuvenating retreat at sea: Princess’ primary goal is for you to escape completely®. That's why you'll find every detail — from the friendly stateroom steward who greets you by name to the comfortably elegant venues that range from lively to intimate — is designed with your relaxation in mind. 4. Delicious, fresh food: Princess Cruises take dining seriously because they know how important it is to your cruise experience. Every sauce is made from scratch, breads and pastries are baked fresh throughout the day, and chefs use local products to create dishes inspired by the region you're visiting. 5. Exclusive amenities: Only on Princess can you enjoy evenings spent watching Movies Under the Stars®, with complimentary blankets and popcorn. Meet friends for a small bite, wine by the glass and enjoy street performer-style entertainment in the Piazza. Or spend a few hours of tranquillity in The Sanctuary — a retreat just for adults where you can enjoy a massage, signature drinks and snacks or the spectacular sea views from your plush lounge chair. 6. Stretch your spending money: Compared to a land based holiday, a cruise with Princess provides great value for money. Your fare not only includes the comfortable accommodations of your wellappointed stateroom, but also many fresh dining options, dazzling entertainment and access to health and wellness facilities. 7. The experts love Princess Cruises: Having sailed for more than 40 years, all officers and crew are intimately familiar with the ports you'll visit. But don't just take their word for it — Princess are continually being honoured by the industry for carefully planned itineraries, spectacular ships, and the way they make everyone, of every age, feel relaxed and happy when on board.

A signature Princess® pasta – served with freshlyprepared sauces? Or perhaps grilled halibut, perfectly complimented by a chilled glass of chardonnay? Another night, it could be homemade Italian pizza by the pool. That's the beauty of dining on a Princess ship – there's always something to match whatever your mood might be.

A sumptuous variety of dining options awaits you on every voyage. Princess offers you the choice of Traditional Dining with fixed time and seating, or Anytime Dining with the flexibility to dine when and with whom you choose.

is the classic cruise experience, allowing you to dine at set times with the same table mates and wait staff each evening.

The top-of-the-ship restaurant features floorto-ceiling windows with stunning sea views as a backdrop for a quick breakfast or casual dinner. When you visit Horizon Court, you'll find an experience that is more in keeping with a dining room than a traditional buffet. Tables are pre-set with cutlery and napkins and gracious Princess servers will be standing by to provide beverage service to each table, whether you order self-service selections or bar items.

With a menu specializing in Italian cuisine and premium seafood, Sabatini's offers a refined yet casual atmosphere that includes extensive personal attention from our wait staff and is sure to leave you feeling like you just stepped into an Italian ristorante. Inspired by the art and cuisine of Tuscany, Sabatini’s can be a romantic dinner for two or the choice for a grand celebration. ($20 Cover charge applies)

offers more flexibility, giving you the freedom to dine with whom you choose, anytime between 5:30pm and 10pm in a selection of elegant, upscale restaurants Both options offer menus featuring creatively-prepared appetizers, entrees and desserts that change each day of your voyage - as well as several healthy Lotus Spa selections. *Not available on Sun, Dawn, and Sea Princess (while in Australia), Ocean, or Pacific Princess.

POOLSIDE OPTIONS Out on deck, enjoy a fresh, cookedto-order hamburger, chicken sandwich or hot dog from the grill, or opt for a freshly-baked slice of hand-tossed pizza. Or grab a cone of ice cream at our ice cream bar. AFTERNOON TEA Indulge in afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, cookies, music and white-glove service. Enjoy a wide selection of premium teas — from Earl Grey to herbal infusions. And of course there's coffee, if you prefer.

Featuring premium aged beef and fresh seafood items, the Crown Grill offers a truly special dining experience with an open, theater-style kitchen where chefs custom-prepare fresh seafood, such as lobster, scallops, clams and mussels, and cooked-to-order steaks. Set in opulent, rich wood surroundings, this classic steakhouse restaurant offers a warm and personal setting where Princess chefs make dining in the showplace environment something to talk about. ($25 Cover charge applies)

The sophisticated Sterling Steakhouse features premium, cooked-to-order aged beef, along with other steakhouse favorites. Passengers even enjoy the unique option of choosing their own cut from a presentation tray, and watching as the chef cooks their selection. Our steaks come from the famous Sterling Silver brand – hand cut and expertly aged for incredible flavour. Or if you prefer, a premium fish of the day is available. ($15 Cover charge applies)

Live music ushers you into our New Orleans-style restaurant, the Bayou Café & Steakhouse – a first of its kind at sea. A spicy mixture of French, Spanish and African influences, New Orleans cuisine is one of the oldest culture-driven cooking styles in American history. Here, passengers will enjoy traditional Cajun-and Creole-influenced dishes such as peel-and-eat shrimp, gumbos, jambalaya, crawfish and a host of fun drink selections that will quickly take you down to the “Big Easy”. ($15 Cover charge applies)

PUB LUNCH* Step into the Wheelhouse Bar on board for a taste of British tradition. You'll find a menu of favourites advertised on chalkboards and displayed on counters for an authentic pub feel including fish & chips or a hearty Ploughman's Lunch.

Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has been named as the godmother for the new Princess Cruises vessel, Royal Princess. She will be presented at a special naming ceremony to take place in Southampton on Thursday, June 13th, as part of a week-long inauguration for the newest addition to the Princess Cruises fleet. Following tradition, Her Royal Highness will release a bottle of champagne, smashing it against the hull of the ship, blessing the vessel with good luck and fortune.

Every detail of Royal Princess & Regal Princess has been designed to enhance the atmosphere of which Princess Cruises’ loyal passengers have grown accustomed. From the spectacular Atrium — now over 50% larger than Princess Cruises’ other ships’ Atriums and featuring exciting new eateries — to materials and finishes specifically chosen to reflect the warmth and sophistication that’s synonymous with Princess Cruises, to exciting new venues like the SeaWalkSM — a glass-bottom walkway extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship and 128 feet above the ocean, Royal Princess and Regal Princess are sure to impress. Whether you want a romantic, intimate space or a lively experience with new friends, these new ships have everything you need to escape completely.

TOP THINGS TO SEE & DO • Sled Dog Demonstration & Ride • Alaska Adventure Walking Tour • Black Bear ATV Adventure

Glistening Glaciers, Amazing Wildlife, Gold Rush History & Stunning National Parks

• Salmon Fishing by Raft

With over 40 years’ experience, Princess Cruises is the number one tour operator in the ‘Great Land’ of Alaska, so who better to introduce you to the breathtaking scenery, magnificent wildlife and unique history of this vast region. The towering glaciers of Alaska’s stunning coastline are only half the story – you will be taken 300 miles deeper into the heart of Alaska where Denali National Park, soaring Mt. McKinley and incredible wildlife reign supreme.

• Watch Wildlife in Denali National Park • Ride the Rails of the Historic Alaska Railroad • Cruise Glacier Bay National Park

The most Frequently Asked Questions on Alaska... When is the best time of year to visit Alaska?

What is mobile phone/wireless signal like?

You can’t go wrong visiting Alaska anytime between May and September. The days are long & nature is in full bloom. Peak season is mid-June to mid-August.

Given the areas through which you will be travelling, wireless reception may be limited or in some cases, non-existent. Please take this into consideration prior to your departure so that your family and friends are aware.

What clothing would I take when going to Alaska? Alaska is very casual both in the evenings, as well as the day. Casual, active sportswear is the best option, as you will likely be enjoying tours and activities outdoors. You’ll want comfortable clothes and good walking shoes, and the ability to be layered for everything from sunny afternoons to chilly nights. As the weather can be unpredictable, a warm jacket is advisable.

When is the best time to see wildlife? Early June there is more wildlife viewing as young are born, and migrating to better feeding areas in the summer. If you are interested in seeing other wildlife such as Moose, Dall sheep, Arctic Fox, mountain goats and bears, try to extend your stay to include a few nights in Anchorage or Denali National Park. Whales can usually be seen June through September. You may see Humpback, Orcas, Sea Otters, Beavers, Dolphin & Porpoises.

Can I see a glacier close up? Cruise ships carry their passengers close to glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park, at Hubbard Glacier near Yakutat and Columbia Glacier near Valdez.

Which side of the ship is best for viewing glaciers? While we can understand that one may think that the right side of the ship (starboard side) is better for scenery on a Northbound cruise and the left side (port side) better on a Southbound cruise but this isn’t true. When cruising the Inside Passage, there is scenery on both sides of the ship and when you are entering the fjords in Alaska, the viewing will be equally good from both sides of the ship over the duration of your cruise vacation. Once the ruler of all Borneo, Brunei today is surrounded by Malaysia’s Sarawak Province. The capital is Bandar Seri Begawan, a city of some 75,000 people. Bandar boasts elegant modern Islamic mosques, museums and palaces. Brunei’s other chief attractions are its exotic water villages at Kampong Ayer and its pristine rain forest.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

For All Suite Bookings!

Singapore by night with Sling Enjoy dining by the River - Singaporean’s latest sunset haunt. Enroute to the world’s largest fountain, take in the beautiful sight of the central business district via Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Next, advance to Bugis Street, where your guide will take you for a stroll at the night market or ‘pasar malam’ where you may chance upon bargains you never imagined. Our last stop for the evening will be at Raffles Hotel for a taste of Singapore’s very own concoction ‘the Singapore Sling’.

At Sea Nha Trang, Vietnam

28 Oct ‘13

One of Vietnam’s most popular seaside resorts, Nha Trang offers white-sand beaches, azure waters and palm trees swaying in the breeze. Gaily painted fishing boats line the harbors. Small farm villages nestle in the countryside’s lush valleys. Yet this relaxed city of some 300,000 souls boasts a long and storied past.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 29 Oct ‘13

Over a quarter of a century has passed since the Vietnam War ended in 1975 with the fall of Saigon. Today, the name of this bustling metropolis on the Mekong River is Ho Chi Minh City. Yet, the essence of the city, a major trading center since the 18th century, remains unchanged. The air is filled with the cries of street hawkers and honking horns. Bicycles, motorbikes and automobiles fly down the boulevards at dizzying speeds. And everywhere, friendly faces and warm greetings meet you.

30 Oct ‘13 At Sea Singapore

Sihanoukville, Cambodia 31 Oct ‘13

Developed as Cambodia’s sole deepwater port in 1964, Sihanoukville - the former Kampong Som - has become a jealously guarded secret of savvy travelers. This still pristine resort on the Gulf of Thailand boasts beautiful beaches and crystalline waters. Offshore islands offer excellent dive sites and some of the world’s finest big game fishing. Sihanoukville is also renowned for its excellent cuisine featuring superb seafood.

Nha Trang, Vietnam

Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand 1 Nov ‘13

Laem Chabang is your gateway to Bangkok. This enchanting city on the Chao Phraya River is a magical place where graceful dancers perform in shimmering silk gowns, temples with gold-leaf spires harbor priceless Buddhas and riverboats cruise a maze of canals. The only nation in Southeast Asia to escape colonial rule, Thailand offers a rich and ancient culture that flowered unhindered by Western influence. Proud and strongly nationalistic, the Thai people call their nation Muang Thai - “Land of the Free.”

Ko Samui, Thailand 2 Nov ‘13

Thailand’s third largest island has been attracting international travelers for less than half a century. Before then, this island in the Gulf of Thailand was noted for its coconut plantations and rubber production. Today, Ko Samui’s premier charms are its powdery white beaches, its Buddhist temples or wats, and its crystalline waters. Despite the island’s increasing popularity, it retains a casual and unspoiled air that offers a bracing tonic to the experienced traveler.

Malaysia’s Cultural Night This tour introduces you to the Malaysian way of life - a harmonious mingling of the different races, cultues and religions. We begin by taking you to the largest and oldest Hindu temple in the city, the Sri Mahamariamman Temple. The smell of burning jasmine, the incessant chantings of Hindu priests and the mystical aura will combine to give you an everlasting impression of this fascinating religion. A short walk from here is the open air bazaar of Chinatown. Take a stroll through this night market where the locals engage in hectic bargaining for merchandises spread across the middle of the street. From here, we drive you to a delightful Malay restaurant where you will be treated to a Malay buffet dinner and cultural show. Help yourself to the buffet dinner, where a sumptuous variety of local delicacies awaits you. While you feast, you will enjoy Malaysian cultural dances.
