PROVERBS 4:7 WELCOME TO CHOKMAH

Proverbs 4:7 of the King James Version Bible states the following about wisdom; “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

s masons, we learn that “wisdom dwells in contemplation.” As Scottish rite masons, we learn that wisdom is the beautifully conceived system of rules that regulates the “moral fiber” of the universe. To master that wisdom is to achieve real and lasting success in life. Our Louis W. Roy Sr., Council of Deliberation, Orient of the District of Columbia, was established on the principle of wisdom (CHOKMAH). And over the past few years, under the leadership of our Most Illustrious Commander in Chief, Sovereign Grand Inspector General Eric F. Konohia, our orient has risen from the ashes and raised the bar of excellence to re-establish the Prince Hall Scottish Rite standard. The Louis W. Roy Sr., Council of Deliberation and the Matthew Ellis Jr., State Grand Assembly Golden Circle is the Official Prince Hall Scottish Rite contingent of Washington DC corresponding to the location near the B∴B and under the C∴C of that Zenith, which answers unto 38° 53’ 38.17” N. Latitude; also known as the BIRTHPLACE of the United Supreme Council, 33° of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction of the United States of America. Continue to look for great things from the Orient of the District of Columbia as we will continue our birthright of carrying the Scottish rite banner since 1886.
