Si obvium habueris vetera novis – Old meets New
The aim of the scheme was to combine the activites and accommodation of two sets of occupants for mutual benefit. My concept “old meets new” seemed appropriate, because the brief called for an extension to an existing building and the meeting of two generations which took the form of the outdoor deck.
