Howl-O-Ween Nights at the Conservators Center

TrICK OR TREAT Tours Looking for a unique family outing? Want to trick or treat with Arthur Tiger and Trekkie Wolf? The Conservators Center Trick or Treat tours are just right for families looking for a delightful October activity! Grab your Jedi, pirate, and princess costumes and come on out to the Conservators Center in nearby Burlington, NC any weekend in October starting October14th-15th. On a Conservators Center Trick or Treat tour, you and your little ghouls and goblins will: Learn about the tricks animals use to survive in the wild; Snack on yummy Howl-O-Ween treats around the park, and Meet Fiona Fennec and Popcorn Binturong, the Conservators Center’s lovable, goofy mascots. Trick or Treat Tours last one hour, and are held in the evening (weekends in October beginning the 14th-15th), as the sun is setting. This is the time of day when the critters at the Conservators Center are the most active. Lions love roaring to end the day, and leopards come out to prowl in the tall grass in their habitat. Tigers emerge from their dens to greet you, and wolves prance around their wooded enclosure, happy to finally have cooler weather! The best part? You’ll have a funny, entertaining guide to tell you all kinds of fun, spooky things about the wonderful animals at the Center. You can wear your favorite Halloween costume when you visit the animals. Legends & LoRE Tours For older kids (14 and up) and adults, the Conservators Center offers an eerie night outing, Legends & Lore tours where participants: Meet the animals in the dark; Learn about the myths and legends that have surrounded their species for centuries, and Discover how humans have viewed predators as much through story as science. This tour lasts one hour and concludes with hot chocolate around a campfire. Ages fourteen and up only.
