Camping the Night Away Children’s Cancer Connection exists to enhance the quality of life for children and families affected by childhood cancer by providing programs for education, recreation and support. In 2012 Children’s Cancer Connection provided these services to over 500 families right here in Iowa at little to no cost. Children’s Cancer Connection hosts four camps throughout the year for families living in Iowa. Children’s Cancer Connection uses about $255,000 each year to host Family Camp, Camp Heart Connection Oncology & Sibling, as well as Mid-Year Mini Camp.
