Canon J.John had a warm message, Sir Cliff Richard and Sir David Suchet gave us their testimonies on what Christmas is for them, Sir David Suchet read from the Bible and Mat Redman sang for us. A real special service, even if it was online via Zoom‌‌
J.JOHN & FRIENDS
What is Christmas for me? Christmas reminds us that God is with us and that He loves us so much that He was willing to take the form of a human being- to look like us, to redeem us to give us life in abundance. It is a priceless gift. (Isaya and Rebecca) I would say for me one word has helped define Christmas for me – and maybe no other year is this more relevant and important to remember – priorities (Kirk) More at www.icfeuropaporten.se
Christmas is the time of year that I pause to be mindful of the Son of God’s first Advent and look forward to His second coming. It means that I reflect on my ’stable’ or put another way ‘my life’, “Am I ready to greet in person my Saviour?” Is my life what it should be in light of His coming to die for my sin? And, it is a time of celebration that we have life eternal because He came to earth as a babe. (Rececca van den Brink)
Christmas to me is a time when we celebrate the birth of Christ and a time when we reflect on our lives In Christ. This period is usually spent whith close family. (Kachi) H appy family gatherings, food and decor O pportunities to share God’s love P eaceful focus throughout the world E Manuel - God with us - Heaven on earth All these things give me HOPE for a better future because of His coming to earth. (Phyllis Benigas)
