Free Volunteer Course in Hounslow June 2019 If you have some free time in the new year, and you are a parent or grandparent, you could help other families with pre-school children. We are offering a FREE course to train you to be a home-visiting volunteer, supporting families with difficulties such as post-natal illness, bereavement or disability. Our next course will be held in Hounslow: Home-Start Richmond, Kingston & Hounslow office, Hounslow. 6th June to 3rd July (Wednesdays and Thursdays – 6, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 June and 3 July). 9.30am – 2.30 pm.

Chessington Art Group We are holding our annual exhibition at The Methodist Church Hall Chessington on Saturday 15th June 10.00 until 4.00 Come along and see our work. All are welcome, admission is free and refreshments are available. For our normal painting sessions we meet every Thursday morning 9.30 to 11.30 at Chessington Methodist Church Hall KT9 2DJ and Thursday afternoon 1.00 to 3.00 at The Kings Centre KT9 2GZ. SPANISH CLUB FOR ADULTS Spanish Lessons in Surrey organises a Spanish Club for Adults once a month at 7pm at the Lucky Rover Pub. Practice your Spanish whatever your level or just network with professional people. The club is open to everybody and especially to: 

English speakers who are learning the language and don't have opportunities to practice Spanish. Adults who have a house or travel to Spain and Latin America and want to know about cultural issues. Spanish speakers who want to socialize among English speakers and share their experience living in the UK.

Chessington Cake and Community Chessington Cake and Community welcomes everyone ages 0-105 to join us for coffee/tea, cake and a natter every Thursday from 9.30am at the Hook Centre Library Café. HOOK ALLOTMENTS & GARDENS ASSOCIATION Our friendly allotment association was founded over 50 years ago and is run by volunteers. We provide a wide range of composts, fertilisers, seeds; gardening products at not-for-profit club prices to members. Membership costs £2.50 a year and our trading facility is situated next to the entrance to the allotment plots, just beyond the rugby club pavilion, at the rear of King Edward’s recreation ground, Hook Road, Chessington.
