Eastertide 7+8 April 2018 The weekend includes three sessions of choral training in cori spezzati style and a concert accompanied by Exeter SO Brass with Michael Maxwell Steer organ. • You will need moderate music-reading ability, but help will be given. • If you want to be considered for a solo part please include recording or web link in your application. • Special rate for students. • Optional Saturday dinner to include Gabrieli lecture.

Greg Skidmore is greatly in demand as singer and conductor. A member of I Fagiolini, he has sung with most of the major professional English choirs as well as many in Europe and his native Canada. He also performs extensively as a baritone soloist in music of all periods. Greg conducts the Lacock Scholars and leads choir workshops and courses specialising in renaissance polyphonic repertoire, here and in France, Canada, New Zealand and Australia in association with The Sixteen and I Fagiolini.

Schedule Saturday: Choral Rehearsal 1000-1300. 1430-1800. Sunday: Orchestral Rehearsal 0930-1230. Full Rehearsal 1330-1515. Concert 1600-1700.

Cost, excluding dinner. Singers £60. Couples £110. Students £30. Concert (audience) £10.

Tisbury is the friendliest village in Wiltshire, with excellent cafés, pubs and a good range of shops. Equidistant from Bath and Southampton, Tisbury lies midway between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, near A303 and A30. And is on the Waterloo–Exeter train line. There is first-rate walking from the village, with gastropubs within easy reach, plus a good range of local accommodation. Ask for a list.
