Volleyball finished the 2012 season Cherie Smith Sports Editor The season did not end the way the Tigers had wanted. They were looking win the last two contests to keep their play-off hopes alive. The first one was at Fresno City against a very good team where the Tigers lost 3-0. The Reedley ended the season at home against Taft College where they were hoping to at least end the season on a good note, but that did not happen either. Wednesday, November 7 Reedley College traveled to Fresno City College. The Tigers were looking to even up the series. Instead they lost 3-0 (25-23, 25-6, and 25-22) to Fresno City. Reedley ended the season at home on Friday, November 9 hosting Taft College. The Tigers needed to win to keep their play-off hopes alive. It did not happen, instead falling to Taft 3-0 (25-21, 25-9, and 25-19). Emily Bakker had 6 kills, Mikala had four kills, Ashlyn Solano had seven kills, Jordan Ross had six kills, and Katie Tomcak had two kills. Kendall Jean had one point, Bakker had 6.5 points, Tomcak had two points, Marci Baird had two points, Frueh had six points, Solano had seven points, and Kimberly Alombro had .5 points, and Ross had seven points.
