PLACE OF SENSES Kayak Club Design for enhancing Human Experience KEY WORDS Sensory Perception, Human Experience, Materials, Framing, Landscape Architecture My drive is to meaningfully affect human experience by playing a part in the formation of perception through the design of their surroundings. The overall design of the form, interior space and its relationship to the exterior environment can affect how people will experience it. Moreover, by thoughtfully dealing with materials, openings, lighting conditions and acoustic factors, different sensory perceptions could be further enhanced.

NATURE FACTOR Institutional Architecture Design based on Human / Environment Relationship KEY WORDS Environment, Human Behavior, Form, Relationship, Civic Engagement Inspired by the natural environment around the site, I focused on creating positive relationships between architecture, human activities and environment. The overall shape of the lab is taken from the hill. With accessible green roof, and several platforms connecting interior and exterior, the architecture is trying to take people out to the nature.

FOAM RESIDENCE Housing Design based on Foam Experiment KEY WORDS Foam Experiment, Form, Ambiguity, Fitness, Organization This is an innovative design experiment on a single-family house. In this design, I focused on design process and experiments. I started by experimenting with foams. In this project, form has been used as spatial driver. The form and spatial organization share the same compositional logic. Colors are applied to create ambiguity of the form and space. Stairs are used not only for creating connection between spaces horizontally and vertically, but also dividing space.

REFURNISHING LEARNING SPACE Learning/Working Space Experiment with Herman Miller Inc. KEY WORDS Flexibility, Reprogramming, Furniture Design, Behavior, Learning Space, Multi-Purposes The goal of our proposal is to balance flexibility and rigidity. We use different architectural elements in different rooms to define the most suitable programs within these two rooms.
