•BASIC IDEA WHILE DESIGNING MUSEUM OF MODERN ART WAS CIRCULATION. GALLERY ARE DESIGNED ALONG A GRAND LOBBY SO THAT IT DISTRIBUTION OF VISITORS CAN TAKE PLACE. •GRAND LOBBY IS A DOUBLE HEIGHT AREA WHICH SPACE FRAMING AND TRANSLUCENT SHEETS WHICH ARE SUPPORTED BY TREE COLUMN. THE HUGENESS OF LOBBY AND AMPLE LIGHT MAKE IT A INVITING FEATURE. •MUSEUM IS DESIGNED HORIZONTALLY RATHER THEN VERTICALLY. THIS WAS DONE SO THAT IT WONT BREAK THE LINEARITY OF MARINE DRIVE AND DOESN’T OBSTRUCT VIEW. •ITS ELEVATION DEPICTS THE SPEED OF CITY OF MUMBAI. THE BANAL SCHEDULE THAT CITY RUNS ON WHICH IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO SPEED AND TIME.
