Welcome Democratic National Convention (DNC) to the Queen City!!! As we celebrate this historic occasion, the Pocket Rocket Guide wanted to put a twist on famous moments in American history by showcasing some of our most dedicated local LGBT leaders. These lindividuals have championed progress in the City of Charlotte, the Carolinas and across the nation for LGBT equality. The Charlotte Pocket Rocket is proud of the City of Charlotte and our LGBT community. This “pocket-sized gay monthly guide highlights all the bars, restaurants and gay-friendly establishments that make up the fantastic place we call the Queen City. Take time to go to these LGBT-friendly places and show your support for our LGBT community. Celebrate the DNC and everything our fantastic city has to offer you. The Pocket Rocket is for everyone. Enjoy!
